This Privacy Policy explains how Sonder Digital (“Sonder,” “we,” “us”) handles information collected through this website, sonderbusiness.com (the “Site”). It applies to the Site only. Our apps — such as Grain — are covered by their own separate policies (see grainios.com).
Who we are
Sonder Digital is an independent product house. This Site is an informational and marketing site: it has no user accounts, no payments, and no client login. The only place you can actively submit personal information is our contact form.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, an optional phone number, the topic you choose, and your message. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
- Technical & security data. Our host (Cloudflare) and our contact form process standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your request — to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and rate-limit spam.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from bots. Turnstile assesses signals from your browser session and is designed to be privacy-preserving; it does not track you across other websites.
- Analytics. If we measure Site traffic, we use privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not set cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not identify individual visitors.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers on this Site.
How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it;
- To operate, secure, and maintain the Site;
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, keeping the Site secure, and understanding aggregate usage), and, where relevant, compliance with a legal obligation.
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, Turnstile bot-protection, and (where enabled) cookieless analytics.
- Resend — delivers your contact-form message to us by email.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for those transfers.
Data retention
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete them. Security and server logs are retained for a limited time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because this Site operates online only, you can exercise any of these rights — or ask a privacy question — by emailing contact@sonderbusiness.com. We will respond as required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect; if that ever changes, we will update this policy and offer a clear opt-out.
Children
This Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we will delete the information.
Grain and other products
Our apps have their own privacy policies. This policy does not cover data handled inside the Grain app; see grainios.com for Grain’s policy.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed; material changes will be reflected here.
